Data Analyst

This global consultancy wishes to appoint a trainee analyst to their UK team.

The role will entail the translation and transposition of technical data for the oil and gas sector from a numerical form into a graphic output which highlights the key findings in a format that is easy for the customer to use.

The company is the global market leader in this area with Swindon being their global centre of excellence. Due to the specialist nature of the work a comprehensive internal training program for the role exists. The training which is ongoing (class room/ on the job and online training) is designed to help you to develop your skills and to move you through the ranks of the data analysis career path within this business.

The ideal candidate will be educated to GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English with a good understanding of Microsoft Office.

Any candidates who have an interest in puzzle solving and the ability to work at a detailed level for sustained periods of time would be of interest- more so if you can combine these skills with the communication skills required to articulate your findings.

The odd geeky habit they can live with- however you will need to be a keen learner and a reliable and flexible team player. The salary ranges from high teens to low 20s for a trainee to high twenties plus after training.
