FEA Engineer

This FEA Engineer will be responsible for modelling and design validation, working closely within an R&D team for this Global Branded manufacturer. However you will also support customer projects, applications engineering and process design teams with your FEA insights. As such you will provide the FEA expertise to the entire Engineering team specifically using ABAQUS and ISIGHT software or equivalent.

Ideally a graduate engineer, you should demonstrate the expertise to develop practical modelling concepts and have experience of Non linear anaylsis applied at component and sub assembly level. The role encompasses the scope to reduce design cycle times, improve product design, and to develop a set of models that can be used going forward.

The company is flexible about the nature of tenure with either a 12 month contract or Permanent post as options. There is a range of concurrent projects to work on covering designs for end users within the Automotive and White Goods sectors.
