Graduate trainee electronics engineer

Our client seeks a Graduate trainee electronics engineer to train as a field technician.

The company build an operate Oil and Gas Pipeline inspection equipment. The role of Field Technician is 50% workshop based in Swindon (build and test) and 50% field based (Inspection / technical fault finding and repair and client relations) globally.

The business in Swindon is the Global Centre of excellence for their pipeline inspection division (the company currently turns over $500m p.a. with plans to double in size over the next 5 years).

The field Technician’s position is a “hands on” education into the business. Previous graduate trainee Field Technicians have progressed into more senior management positions such a project management having initially learned the business in the field.

Our ideal candidate will be a “hands on” electronics engineering graduate who is available to travel globally. The ability to communicate effectively, work well in a team based environment and with the ability to plan and manage a diverse workload will stand you in good stead as will practical hands on skills in both analog and digital circuitry.

With the company set to grow over the next 5 years they now need talented and ambitious engineers who can grow with them.
