Laser Research & Development Engineer (Photonics) - Manchester
A new vacancy for a Laser Research & Development Engineer with leading UK manufacturer of advanced DPSS laser systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a well established, high tech company with an excellent track-record of growth.
Role: -
Research and development in the field of DPSS laser technology.
Required to work on the optical and mechanical design of a range of laser systems.
Requirements:
- A PhD and a strong, proven track record and design skills in a laser related field.
- A specialisation in design of fibre lasers, Q-switched/mode-locked lasers
or laser diodes is beneficial.
- Experience in non-linear optics such as harmonic generation or OPO design is also beneficial.
Salary negotiable depending on experience/qualifications
