A new vacancy for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a leading UK company specializing in the design & manufacture of high specification electronic lighting controls. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for managing projects through design, specification agreement, prototype design & build and sourcing & procurement, and will be involved in both new product development and the re-engineering of existing products. The role will also require collaboration with Electronics Engineers to ensure the electronic and mechanical development are designed in unison. Candidates must come from an electromechanical engineering background and will have a minumum of five yrs\' experience in a similar commercial engineering role. Those with specific experience working with electronic controls/systems will be of particular interest.
