Operations Manager (Food Ingredients) - Cardiff, South Wales

A new vacancy for an Operations Manager with a leading provider of specialist food ingredient products to many of the world\'s global, blue chip food companies. We work closely with our customers to solve their specific process problems and to produce custom-made products. Our growth rate and World Class Customer Service is the envy of our competitors and central to accelerating this growth will be a highly driven and results oriented Operations Manager.

In this senior management role, your strong financial and leadership skills will drive and deliver the strategic and operational activities of our manufacturing facility using Lean techniques whilst engendering a culture where your team is continuously enhancing profitability. You will drive and manage change and have a passion for continuously improving our key performance indicators whilst maintaining our World Class customer service. Demonstrable management expertise of manufacturing is essential ideally in a food environment and a degree or equivalent within operations or production is highly desirable along with strong IT skills. You will be an excellent communicator, assertive, methodical, numerate and must have a positive \"can do\" attitude.
