Sales Engineer

This global manufacturer wishes to appoint a sales engineer to manage a sales territory covering Avon, Wiltshire, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Hampshire,Surrey and West Sussex.

The position will manage account relationships with an established client base of end user accounts and will focus on clients in the food and automotive sector and the machine building sectors that supply these markets.

Qualified to at least HNC level or equivalent in a mechanical discipline you will be a successful sales engineer with a record of making sales in a consultative relationship driven environment.

Sector sales experience in the food or automotive market is more important than product knowledge however candidates who have sold pneumatics or compressed air systems/ vacuum / pick and place systems would be of particular interest provided they have the capability to sell packaged systems.

The territory and role is supported by an internal sales team and extensive marketing programme and currently supports an active pipeline of ongoing work.
