Sales Engineer (power supplies)

This company designs and manufactures power suppliers.

The role is a UK sales engineer which covers a wide spectrum of end users (anyone who requires a bespoke power supply for a new product).

The sale is typically OEM in style where you will interact with the client’s design and projects teams providing expertise and advice on the specification of power supplies across a wide range of product areas.

Moving the sales cycle through concept design and prototyping into mass production the core challenges within the role are new business development and effective sales pipeline management.

Technically astute you will have a background in sales from within the power supply industry and a proven track record of sales success. You will also have the ability to quickly integrate into the client’s design process to drive the specification and development of the power supply as required down the critical path to a bulk order.

Location is entirely flexible within the UK as the role is a field based sales position.
