Senior Machinery Engineer
Location: London
Salary: £40,000 – £65,000
Senior machinery Engineer required for large petrochemical firm based in London.
Our client is a world leader in developing and licensing advanced process technologies for the oil and gas, petrochemicals, commodity chemicals and fine chemical industries.
Having at least 10-15 years experience in the field, as the senior machinery engineer you will be responsible for the specification of rotating equipment such as compressors, turbines, pumps and fans. You will also need to be proactive in unearthing innovative solutions to new technologies.
The successful candidate will be required to prepare specifications, tender evaluation, drawing review and progress monitoring of manufactured equipment.
Overseas travel will more than likely be required
In order to be successful, applicants should have a degree in mechanical engineering with at least a first or 2:1 result.
