Senior Product Test Engineer

The brand leader in electrical and mechanical consumer products with a range of air compressors, generators, garage equipment, power washers,machine and power tools and other related products are looking for a Senior Test Engineer to be based at their Derbyshire facility.

You will test consumer products in line with current European and National Standards to ensure they are electrically and mechanically safe and fit for purpose.

You will be required to start and develop a new testing department on this site whilst working with the existing engineering team based in London.

Requirements are as follows:

* Man-management experience
* Used to reading and working to EN standards
* Writing up detailed engineering reports in line with current practice
* Doing product risk assessment
* Have an electrical / mechanical degree or HND equipment
* Minimum of 10 years experience in a similar position
