Service Engineer (Electronic & Electrical) - West Midlands
A new vacancy for a Service Engineer with a global leader in the field of measurement technology, with products delivering real time support for customers\' in a wide range of manufacturing industries including automotive, machine tool and aerospace.
Based in the West Midlands, the role will involve the installation, training, service and repair of the company\'s range of electronic measuring equipment. The position will involve some travel to customer premises across the UK and occasional overnight stays. Training on the company\'s products will be supplied mainly in the UK, with some possible additional training overseas.
The successful candidate will have a relevant electrical/electronic qualification and at least some experience working with PLC systems. A sound mechanical aptitude would also be advantageous. A self-motivated, enthusiastic and committed individual, he/she will be able to combine technical expertise with the ability to work well in a customer-facing role.
