Service Engineer (Electronics and IT programming) - West Midlands

A new vacancy for a Service Engineer with a global leader in the field of measurement technology, with products delivering real time support for customers in a wide range of manufacturing industries including automotive, machine tool and aerospace. The Company is now looking to recruit an experienced Service Engineer with a strong electronics background and good practical computer programming skills.

Based in the West Midlands, the role will involve the installation, training, service and repair of the company\'s range of electronic measuring equipment. The position will involve some travel to customer premises across the UK and occasional overnight stays. Training on the company\'s products will be supplied mainly in the UK, with some possible additional training overseas.

The successful candidate will have a relevant electronics qualification and good practical computer programming skills. A sound mechanical aptitude and experience working with automated systems would also be advantageous. A self-motivated, enthusiastic and committed individual, he/she will be able to combine technical expertise with the ability to work well in a customer-facing role.
