Software and Commissioning Engineer

Our Client is a well established Control Systems integrator based in the Peterborough region. Due to planned growth and continuous growth they are now actively looking to recruit the services of a Control Systems Engineer (PLC & SCADA)

This outstanding organisation is a specialist in designing, writing, installing and commissioning of industrial control systems, with clients of all sizes throughout the World.
Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
• Design and write PLC/SCADA control system software
• Produce required documentation (e.g. functional design specifications, manuals)
• Carry out testing and acceptance with customer
• Commissioning of systems
• Train customer maintenance and operator staff
• Implement changes on site to electrical panels when required
• Provide post commissioning support

To apply you will ideally have at least three years proven experience within PLC/SCADA Controls. You will be highly motivated with excellent communication skills both written and verbal and hold strong organisation skills with a creative approach to problem solving.
You should have advanced knowledge of:
• Allen Bradley ControlLogix and or Siemens S7 software programming
• Any SCADA software package
• Electrical control panel components and maintenance
