Role: Technical Support Engineer
Location: Hertfordshire
Salary: £25k - £30k + company benefits
A new opportunity for a technical support engineer to join an expanding company operating within the scientific imaging industries worldwide:
The ideal candidate should possess a good working knowledge of electronics (ideally HND or above) and have the ability to diagnose faults in electronic circuitry / remove / replace components at board level.
The role will include:
- Being first point of call for all customer technical issues
- Diagnosing / fix minor product problems
- Testing demo units prior to delivery
- Customer demonstrations
- Administration duties
We are looking at candidates with good computer literacy to include knowledge of firmware and bus architecture. Ideally you should have a background from within the scientific imaging technologies or opto-electronics / photonics industries.
