Technical Support Engineer/Mechanical - North Devon
Basic salary circa £20,000 + Bonus and Benefits
A new vacancy for a Technical Support Engineer with top blue chip engineering company specializing in a range of process instrumentation and services for the Oil & Gas and Chemical Process industries. Principal responsibilities will include providing technical expertise on the company\'s products to both external customers and the internal customer support team; ensuring that the demands of the customer are met through technical product support in the quotation and ordering stages; and contributing to the design and development of new products.
Candidates should be educated to degree/HND level in a mechanical engineering or design discipline, and have at least two years\' experience as an engineer/designer working for a manufacturing company. Those with specific experience working with valves, pumps, pipes or pressure vessels for the oil & gas or chemical process industries would be of particular interest (as would candidates with practical workshop experience in engineering manufacturing). *Please note - 3D CAD design experience is an essential requirement for this role.
