Trainee Sales Engineer

This company specialises in providing bespoke engineering solutions to the machine building market.

They have a excellent record of training and developing high performing sales engineers.

They wish to appoint a graduate trainee sales engineer to manage an established territory in Yorkshire. Customers include a vast range of engineering businesses and assignments cover a wide spectrum of varied and often unique applications.

Our client seeks someone who is educated to Degree level in a mechanical or related engineering subject. You will be an excellent communicator and be able to demonstrate high level of self-motivation, achievement and commitment, either academically, socially or through sport (no sales experience is required)

It is vital however that all applicants are people who have given serious thought to what they want out of a career as only those who are determined to succeed in a consultative sales environment and are based in Yorkshire will be interviewed.

In addition to product training you will be given comprehensive sales training and support so that you can confidently manage and develop your client base which will include both SME and Blue Chip engineering clients.

Along with comprehensive market leading training lasting up to three years, you will also be awarded early responsibilities a basic of £18k and a company car. First year OTE is circa 25k although there is the potential for the right person to earn more.
